I am an Assistant Professor at Peking University in the School of Mathematical Sciences. My general research interest is in the computational and applied mathematics with an emphasis on the numerical methods for partial differential equations. Some of my earlier works focused on the finite volume method and multiscale method for the shallow water equations with sediment transport. Some recent works contain the mixed finite element method for linear elasticity, modeling and numerical analysis of phase field problems, nonconforming finite element methods for high-order elliptic PDEs, stabilized methods for general convection-diffusion problems, and numerical methods for nonlinear elliptic problems.
